Permanent Residency
After the temporary residence permit expires, the permanent residency can be applied for. It entitles you to indefinite stay in Uruguay.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of temporary residence | Proof of integration | Proof of income | No criminal record

With permanent residency you have nearly all rights of a Uruguayan citizen, except voting rights at the national level.
