Visa for Uruguay
Entry Requirements
Germans, Austrians and Swiss do not need a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days. An extension for another 90 days is possible at the immigration authority.

For longer stays or employment, a residence permit (Residencia) is required, which can be applied for directly in Uruguay.
