Uruguay is a small country in South America with approximately 3.5 million inhabitants. It borders Argentina and Brazil and has a long Atlantic coastline of over 600 kilometers in length.

Uruguay has access to the Guaranà Aquifer, one of the world's largest underground drinking water reservoirs. This enormous freshwater reserve, which extends beneath Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, ensures the water supply for generations.
