Climate in Uruguay
Uruguay has a temperate subtropical climate without extreme temperatures. The four seasons are clearly defined, with the seasons being reversed compared to Europe.

Summer (December to February) is warm and pleasant with temperatures between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius. This is the main season for beach tourism, especially in Punta del Este and along the Atlantic coast.
Winter (June to August) is mild with temperatures between 10 and 16 degrees Celsius. Frost is rare and snow is extremely unusual. The winter months can be rainy, but the days are often sunny.
Spring and autumn are particularly pleasant seasons with moderate temperatures and fewer tourists. These times are excellent for nature exploration and city trips.
Rainfall is relatively evenly distributed throughout the year, with autumn tending to be slightly wetter. Uruguay has no distinct dry or rainy season. The climate is overall very pleasant and easy for Europeans to adapt to.
